Privacy Policy

Overview

wikawe ("we", "us", or "our") operates https://www.wikawe.online and provides free online PDF tools that run entirely in your web browser. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website and services.

Core principle: Your PDF files and document content are processed locally on your device whenever you use our standard PDF tools (merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, and similar features). We do not upload your files to our servers for those operations.

Information we do not collect from your files

For browser-based PDF processing, your documents stay on your device. We do not receive, store, or have access to the content of PDFs, Word files, images, or other files you process through those tools.

Information we may collect automatically

When you visit our website, we or our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:

• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited, referring URL, and general usage patterns
• IP address (often truncated or anonymized by analytics providers)
• Language and locale preferences

This data helps us understand traffic, fix errors, improve performance, and protect against abuse. It is not used to access your document contents.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for:

• Necessary features — theme, language, signed-in session helpers, and tool drafts on your device
• Optional analytics — Google Analytics, only after you accept analytics cookies
• Optional advertising — Google AdSense, only after you accept advertising cookies

Manage choices anytime via the cookie banner or Cookie settings in the footer. Details: Cookie Policy. You can also clear site data in your browser. Disabling optional cookies will not prevent core PDF tools from working.

AI-powered features

Some AI features (such as summarize, chat, organize, or translate) may send document text or excerpts to third-party AI providers to generate a response. When you use those features, only the minimum necessary content is transmitted. Do not use AI features with highly sensitive documents unless you accept that risk. Standard non-AI PDF tools remain fully client-side.

Contact form and email

If you contact us via our contact form or email us at trypdfix@gmail.com, we receive the information you choose to provide (such as your name, email address, and message). We use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not sell it to third parties.

Third-party services

Our site may use third-party services for hosting (e.g. Vercel), analytics, fonts, or AI APIs. Those providers have their own privacy policies and may process technical data as described in their documentation.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you (such as contact form submissions). To exercise these rights, email trypdfix@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
